Uganda: Hired Lawyers Prosecute Besigye, to Earn Shs3.3b
THE State yesterday strengthened its push for a guilty verdict against Dr Kizza Besigye and 22 others in the on going treason trial by bringing on board six private lawyers to prosecute the accused.

Judge nudges lawyers to negotiate suit: Jury recessed early for weekend
The trial in which Saline County Sheriff's Department deputies and employees are seeking compensation for overtime wages and other claims recessed early Friday afternoon so both sides could consider the status of the case and possible negotiations.
