House passes bill to strip many state warnings from food labels
WASHINGTON The House voted Wednesday to strip many warnings from food labels, potentially affecting alerts about arsenic in bottled water, lead in candy, and allergy-causing sulfites, among others.

US government report on Egypt's human rights
The US Department Of State released the Country Reports on Human Rights Practices- 2005, by the Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor. As relating to Egypt, the report said for the most part (trimmed to fit the web page):

Recent high-profile drug withdrawals have resulted in a new code of conduct to govern direct-to-consumer advertising. As more and more drugs are likely to come under regulatory and public scrutiny, the pharmaceutical industry will need to employ effective marketing and education strategies to ensure patient and physician confidence is retained and the impact of drug safety scares is minimized.
