Falcon Air files for bankruptcy
MIAMI (AP) - A Miami-based airline is filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. Falcon Air Express has laid off more than one-third of its employees, but the charter airline will continue to fly with a reduced fleet as it reorganizes.

Owens Corning Unveils Bankruptcy Exit Plan
Building products maker Owens Corning will pay more than $5 billion to asbestos claimants and as much as $2.27 billion to holders of bank debt as part of a plan to exit federal bankruptcy protection, a company lawyer told a bankruptcy court Wednesday.
