Bankruptcy Law - Winn-Dixie to pay $16M in bankruptcy fees


Winn-Dixie to pay $16M in bankruptcy fees
Sixteen of the professional firms working on Winn-Dixie Stores Inc.'s Chapter 11 bankruptcy reorganization case will be receiving a total of $16 million in fees and expenses from the grocer, according to interim payment motions approved Thursday.

Russian firm Yukos files for bankruptcy in N.Y.
OAO Yukos Oil Co., the Russian oil company facing liquidation, filed a bankruptcy petition in New York yesterday to shield its U.S. assets from creditors as it tried to reorganize in its home country.
